Downing-Yee-Fulford, LLC (or DYF) is company that was formed through the consolidation of personal and business relationships. The aim of DYF is to develop a unique and practical product(s) for the everyday consumer. Lock Jaw has provided this solution. Lock Jaw was not developed as an impulse response to the spread of lock bumping. DYF began the development of the product, now known as Lock Jaw, during 2004. The inspiration was for people to feel safer in their houses, apartments, dormitory rooms; any dwelling with a deadbolt, even though and knowing that actual keys to their deadbolts existed within the general public. To boot, we wanted to make it portable. Door chains and other devices that are likewise engaged from inside the dwelling are but a quick hindrance to a burglar. Lock bumping came to Lock Jaw, not the other way around. The price of Lock Jaw has always been the same. Prices were not artificially inflated in order to capitalize on peoples fears. We want EVERYONE to feel safe in their home PERIOD!
